another trip to see the butterflies

Emory, Lily and I took went to the Butterfly Pavilion this morning and Lily got to hold Rosie for the first time today!!! Kids have to be 3 years old, and, as Lily turns 3 in less than 2 weeks, told a small fib so she could hold her today - she was so excited to do it, and she did a wonderful job! She just sat there still while Rosie walked across her hand, got a sticker and she jumped up and said "I did it, I held Rosie!!" It was adorable if I may say so myself :-)

Monster Man and Green Lantern

This morning Emory & Lily put on their robes and turned into their alter crime-fighting egos, Monster Man and Green Lantern! Emory's name is quite self explanatory; Lily's not so much. I pushed for Pink Robe, or Pink Power Princess but she insisted on Green Lantern - so, here are the exploits of Monster Man and Green Lantern:
