Super Cute Puppies

We visited Grandpa Charlie and his puppies this past weekend. Oh-my-gosh, how cute are they! They are like little fuzzy puff balls. I would have a

whole herd of these if they stayed this size and this cute.

Just some play time

New Trick

Andrea found this great 'baby gym' for Emory to play at during the winter. With it being so cold outside, it is nice to go 'unwind' Emory for awhile. It has padded floors, and lots of structures for him to climb on and balls and bubbles and lots of other great features. One of these is a a little trampoline with a bar for toddlers to hold on to while the 'bounce'. Now when we ask him to 'bouce' at home, it the cuttest thing I have ever seen! He kind of bends at the waist and waives his hands...very funny.

Newton

Newton kitty makes an appearance on our website again!

Our little man

Our little boy is becoming such a great little man. He is running, walking backwards, starting to try to say some words as well as hitting, throwing mini temper tantrums when he does not get what he wants. We gladly take the good with the bad, and are greatly enjoying his current stage. His hair is out of control, and he beats up the kitties, but he also gives hugs and likes to cuddle while having his milk.

Career Choices

Emory seems to have taken after his Grandpa Pless in his early career choices. For Christmas he got

some great cardboard blocks (which I have fond menories from my childhood) and he really enjoys playing with them. He moves them from one spot to another, and really likes knocking over towers that we build for him.

Feeding Time

And he eats just like Grandpa Pless too!!!

More puppie love

We went and visited Andrea's dad and the new puppies this morning. Charlie wanted some pictures of the puppies, and Emory liked them very much. He was a little leary of them at first, but enjoyed them a lot once he got used to them.

Home

I am very glad that Andrea and Emory got to visit with Andrea's

friends and family, but am also glad that they are home. I missed them very much, and got to make up for some lost "snuggle" time with my little boy.

Great visit with some of my 'sisters'

I made a surprise trip to Bloomington to be with my friends Elizabeth and Katy and their families. We are having a wonderful time. Tomorrow I will get to see my own family in Seymore and then we fly home. I didn't have enough room to bring my camera so these pictures are stolen from Elizabeth.

What a wonderful way to reconnect with my past as we embark on a new year of discovery! We have had a wonderful time but Emory and I are both anxious to be with Gabe again tomorrow night.

Secret Journey?

Where are Andrea and Emory getting ready to journey to? Will Emory have a meltdown on the plane? Will Andrea be sane at the end of the trip? Stay tuned for pictures of our New Year's get away!
