Feeding Time

Emory is learning to feed himself. Right now that means as much as possible; as fast as possible; and with no regard to life, limb or cleanliness! As you can see, there is a spoon in the picture, and he did use if for a time, but realized that it would just slow him down and hinder his eating process.

Swim time

Emory loves to swim! Last weekend he attended a friends party at the pool, and he loved it.

More fun at the park

After breakfast and a nap, Emory and I went for a walk to the park. He had fun playing on the swings, slide and in the sand; but the most fun came when he learned that he could push the stroller. He spent a good 15 minutes pushing his stroller across a huge field on the way home from the park. He is also getting very good at seeing things in the sky, and in one of the pictures you can see him checking out a plane that flew over while we were playing. While speaking with my mom today, something she said really took. "He is a toddler now, and not an infant". I guess I already knew this, but looking at these pictures, he is

an amazing little boy who we love very much.

Morning with Daddy

Andrea had to give an exam to some hopefuls this morning, and I got to spend some quality time with Emory.

For breakfast he had some oatmeal with blueberries and strawberries (if you look closely you can see it) and he had a lot of fun.

Rub-a-dub-dub

Emory just had his first bath in his tub. He is now too big to bathe in the sink, and not big enough to be in the bathtub alone. Andrea had the great idea to use the beer tub as a bath tub. As you can see, it fits him perfectly and then we can use the water to clean the floor when he is done. Works for everyone!
