Visiting Relatives

We wanted to thank everyone who came to visit us for the Holidays. We loved having everyone (even if your not a picture on our site) here and appreciate you traveling to come spend the Holidays in Colorado. It was so nice to see everyone and we are glad that Emory got to spend the Holidays with his family.

Puppies

Grandpa Charlie's newest dog Zora just had a litter of 9 puppies. We stopped by to visit, and Emory had a lot of fun playing with the dogs. The are very good with him, and are quite interested in him and let him run wild throughout the house. Zora is very sweet and a very gentle dog. She let us visit her puppies and they are very cute.

Pless Family Christmas

We had a very nice Christmas this year. We were up at my Brothers house with his wife, Aimee, and my mom, step dad, 3 sisters, 2 aunts and Emory's 2 cousins. It was a lot of fun and we think Emory had a lot of fun as well. We hope that all who check our blog had a very nice Christmas, and an even happier New Year. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the Pless Family!

16 AND O Go Pats

CONGRATULATIONS NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS!!!

SWEET 16-0!

The Pats got their perfect regular season, but it wasn't without a fight. New England rallied from 12 down to beat the Giants, 38-35, and finish 16-0. Emory helped me get ready for the game tonight, while managing to play with his new favorite toy...our Lazy Susan. He loves to rearrange the items on the shelves, and has spent a good 1/2 hour at a time simply moving items around. It is very cute, and if it keeps him busy, we are all for it!

Fish have arrived

Andrea's dad gave us

his old fish tank, and we have just got it set up and got ourselves some fish. Emory really enjoys it (at least he enjoys opening and closing the doors on the stand) and if you ask him where the fish are he can take you to the tank. We have 7 fish right now, and their names are Bob, Bob, Bob, Bob, Bob, Bob and Simon James Alexander Baxter III.

Beautiful way to start the day

Went out for coffee this morning, and WOW!

Cousins

Shanti and Shilah came down yesterday to meet our family as they came into town last night. This is the 1st time that Emory has shown any interest in his little cousin Shilah, but he Loved her! He was following her around and trying to hug her and laugh with her. She finally escaped to the couch out of reach, but Emory still tried to get close.

Mama's little helper

Emory helped Mama do an amazing job cleaning out house. While he mostly enjoyed taking items out of Andrea's New Cleaning Caddy, he did a little putting back as well.

Xmas is almost here

With Christmas right around the corner; we tried to get Emory into the spirit. As you can tell, he does enjoy playing with his tree, but he was not too excited about playing mini-Santa.

Living on the Edge!

Here is Emory 'taming a wild croc'. He got a crocodile with blocks as a Christmas present from Celestial Seasonings. As you can obviously see, he is very happy with himself for accomplishing his task.

Look alike contest

Here is a picture of Gabe at just about the same age as Emory. Ever since Emory was born, almost everybody says he looks like me. Now that I see him with Gabe, I see a lot of similarities! It is a little scary to see my baby next to a picture of Gabe as a baby. I'm not sure I'm ready for Emory to be a muscular 6'3''! I'm not sure I'll EVER be ready for that!

Daddy's Little Boy

I am really enjoying spending time with Emory. He is getting to the stage where he is really fun to play with. He likes to read stories, and will sometimes bring a book over to read. He tries my patience at times, but it is well worth it, and I would not give it up for anything in the world!

Mommy's little boy

Look how cute the little guy is. He got a new Holiday outfit and a hair cut, and looks just like a little boy instead of a baby. He has learned his first sign; More and seems to be happier and happier as he gets older.

Kids Christmas party at Celestial Seasonings

This morning my work had the 'Kids' Christmas party. We took Emory and he had a blast!

Mr. and Mrs. Santa showed up with their elves on a fire truck in very classy fashion. There was cookies and Tea, along with face painting and coloring for the kids. Emory would not have any of the face painting, and even was a little 'leery' of the Santa's, but he got a great toy; an alligator that has blocks that stack on its back. It was a lot of fun, and a great way to start our Holiday.

Play Time

We spent some time today in our backyard trimming our peach tree, and Emory used his time to play. He loves to be outside, and could spend his whole day in our backyard playing on his slide; moving rocks from one spot to another; and roaming his backyard. He is turning into quite the little boy!
