Our visit to the Denver Aquarium
I took Emory to the Denver Aquarium this morning. Emory has been asking to go for a few weeks now and I have never been, so off we went...
...here is Emory standing in the mouth of a Carcharocles Megalodon. It is an extinct megatoothed shark that existed in prehistoric times...
...here he is admiring a swarm of fish...
...and this was a cool exhibit. It was a beach habitat, where on land there is birds and reptiles/amphibians (not sure which they were) and then as you can see, lots of fish in the shallow water.

Emory face to face with a shark...
...they had this cool tunnel that went through a large fish tank with sharks and rays and lots of other cool fish. I find this picture interesting, as there was nothing visible running down the center, but I believe that the flash reflected from all sides and created what looks like a small tunnel in the center; photography is so cool!...
...Emory checking out some fish as big as him...
...and a very cool tank that sometimes has divers in it! Not today, but you can actually snorkel and dive in there (i'm sure for an absorbent amount of money).
more Emory at the aquarium
They had this cool bubble for kids to go under and view the fish. So, this picture is of Emory inside a fish tank...
...see...
...what you can not see is the tiger sleeping up and to the right. Very cool exhibit...
...but the entire reason we went to the aquarium; to see Sharks! Emory loved them and he was fascinated by them...so cool to see him so excited and curious...
...we must have spent a good 20 minutes looking at them...and Emory is standing on a glass window that looks to the sea-floor below. There was a very cool saw fish, and endangered species that has a very long nose that it uses to saw its food...

A fish Emory insists is a "cow fish"....
...and a cool Puffer Fish (I think)...
...and this is just a random fish....
...and of course a jelly fish...

Clothing optional
We have the hardest time keeping cloths on Emory. Do all households have a rule that you can't be naked in the front yard?
