Ode to Gabe
I looked at the blog and realized I have not blogged in more than a month. Gabe has done all the blogging. He also does all the cooking, yard work, socializing, telephoning, picture taking, floor playing, and entertaining. Thankfully Mom has picked up the childcare and laundry duties, and I have a housecleaner who comes every thursday to vacume, clean the floors and counters and dust. So...what do I do? Well... I can say in the words of Captain Von Trap, "I must have done something good sometime." Only I think he says it in a beautiful song. At the moment I read books, lay on the couch, Go to work, stare off into space, and then go to bed. So I must have done something sometime to deserve having Gabe.

Yes, yes, you have done "something good sometime" - and you will again! And hooray for Gabe!
I love that song (well, the whole movie really)! Sounds to me like you are both lucky to have each other and to be in the process of enjoying and creating your family! Don't forget to give yourself some credit for the things that you do! I have recently come to appreciate more and more the time physically spent in the company of loved ones, so that is doing something good right there!
