Sewage disaster

Our drains backed up this week and sewage leaked into the carpet. After a franitc plumber visit, a disgusting clean-up, and some frightening internet research we called the carpet restoration experts and the insurance company. BTW I don't think they should be called restoration experts. I think they should be called Rip out half of your carpet People.

Hopefully, a new carpet will be moving in. Sadly, the pool table is going to a new home tonight. Gabe and I realized that we didn't want the added expense of having to pay movers to move it out and back in for the new carpet installation.

These giant fans will be in place for 5 days running constantly! Meanwhile we are wet vacing the rest of the house to make it safe for the little crawler.
